SAL DUPREE
Versatility, showmanship and talent are endless in the vocal performances and productions
of Sal Dupree. He appears as a singer in “The Buddy and Al Story” playing opposite John McGinley and is co-writer and producer of the lead song for the film. His talents haven’t gone without recognition as the voice teacher and coach of Bianca Ryan “America’s Got Talent” million dollar winner , Chrissy Conway of Zoe Girl the winner of a Dove Award, Michelle Nigalan the lead of Miss Saigon on Broadway and Mark InDelicato of the Emmy award winning show Ugly Betty. For over a decade Dupree has produced, directed and conceived original musicals that were performed to sold out crowds in Atlantic City casinos. Dupree himself was the longest running act in casino history performing for 15 consecutive years at Bally’s Park Place and The Tropicana, as well as Monte Carlo and The Academy of Music in Philadelphia.
Dupree has had several hit records as part of top recording groups from the sixties.
As founder of the largest performing arts school in New Jersey he has trained numerous stars for Broadway shows such as “Sunday In The Park With George”, “Miss Saigon”, “Peter Pan”, “Les Miserable”, “Grease” and “Phantom of The Opera.” Additionally he has credits on the Sony label as vocal coach. Born in Brooklyn New York and later raised in a Philadelphia orphanage Dupree is a God gifted self taught artist. Though a talent in his own right he excels at discovering and mentoring new talent that have gone on to have successful careers as television, film and recording artists.
